Festivals with great names – 25 – 26 February

Festivals with great names – 25 – 26 February

Two festivals are on this weekend with great pun filled names, great bands and great dudes.

Why pay hundreds of dollars to see bands whose nostalgic value can be equally enjoyed after a six pack and a Youtube session? Come to Sounddave instead.

Fourteen bands for just twenty clams. But it’s not all about quantity.

A rare solo set from N. Martin (Sweet Teeth) is reason enough to attend. Also flying the Lesstalk flag will be Virginia Sook, who’s heading down from Brissy, and thedowngoing. No headliners, just a bunch of good bands and pretty ok humans.

Sorry, no overpriced booze. It’s BYO.

The full line up is:

The Union Pacific (VIC)
Palisades (VIC)
Make More (QLD)
Quiet Steps (QLD)
Surprise Wasp
The Berkshire Hunting Club
Nick Van Breda
Nathan Martin
Jonny Optional
Virginia Sook

Love, Sweat and Beards

Soak up the Love Sweat and Beards supplied by:

Make More (QLD)
Palisades (VIC)
