Lesstalk Releases have been featured for free download on a new Australian only free download site called Ausreleases Tumblr, the blog is run by Morris Coffey (from Sydney Tapes fame) and Adam Lewis (from FBI’s Radiant glory, 9pm Monday nights). It also includes free downloads from the likes of To The North, Intentions and Kitchen’s Floor. It is supporting artists and labels like Lesstalk that like people listening to our music so we put it online for free, for everyone’s ears and a connection to the internet.

Info: F’tang is the solo studio recordings of Tom Houlahan – former drummer, turned one-man-band. Recorded by Jonathan Boulet in a sweaty Western Sydney garage, Tom’s debut release is influenced by a healthy mix of loud, angular post-rock and experimental indie-pop, with the result ending up somewhere in between the two.

For fans of: Tortoise, Mogwai, Pele and other one-word instrumental bands.

Welcome – F’tang

It comes with great pleasure for me to introduce F’tang aka Foolahan to the Lesstalk family. I hope his overly fertile body produces much great music now and into the future. Over the past few weeks it has been great getting to know crazy-old Foolahan a lot better and I know he will do us proud. F’tang is releasing their 5-track debut EP on Lesstalk Records.

More Information: F’tang is Tom Houlahan. As recorded by Jonathan Boulet.
Note his spanky well groomed beard and awesome brown jacket. He enjoys math/rock, math rock and long walks on the beach. An Aquarius he listens to a lot of American Football, Trail of Dead and about a million other bands I have not yet heard of.

In Tom’s spare time he can be found recommending awesome music in Beatdisc Records Parramatta or playing live in other bands such as Jonathan Boulet (the band), Zounds and Gorge.
