]]> Yeh cool a new Michael Crafter split cassette has been released on Lesstalk Records. Jawa and the Crafter boys are old mates from way back, although they both make completely different styles of music they have a mutual interest in chillin, partying and hanging with their posi peeps. If you are heaps keen, as well as a limited edition split cassette we also screen printed singlets for those hardcore fans to own their own “posi pack”.

Powerviolence CassetteThese songs were originally scheduled for a split 7″ on the now defunct and contentious Six Nightmares Label. The recordings are finally now seeing the light with Northern Beaches old mate JAWA (formerly Jamie Von Parrty) composing a remix mashup of Michael Crafter for all the club hopping pill popping powerviolence fans. In other words… yes we did split with ourselves. Produced by Iain “Gilbo” Gilbert, this cassette goes to show that Michael Crafter are no longer a one split wonder. Limited to 200 copies with a free download code.

Predorder now for a P.V. Party in your pad with your pals. Songs were originally scheduled for a split seven on the now spent Six Nightmares Label, the songs now share the spotlight with Northern Beaches old mate JAWA. This is the first taste of new music that the powerviolence duo Michael Crafter has been working on since the 7 inch “A Hessian’s Confession” released 6 months ago (and almost sold out). The first 2 sample tracks available for streaming on the bandcamp include an introduction recorded by Melbourne noise project Penguins and guest vox verse sung by the notorious Iain “Gilbo” Gilbert. A limited run of singlet were printed for the posi pack in a mixture of black, red and blue colours.

The songs tell the story of a private man who is equally compelling and complex; “Chicks Dig Me” explains Michael Crafter when asked to delve deeper into his 7 inches of powerviolence glory, obviously struggling with his raw talent and the mistakes that nearly cost him everything.
