Free Download: Ivan & The Backpackers, Obat Batuk & Yes I’m Leaving
You probably don't need much of a description because it's a free download. If you cant afford free, then really, really re-think your life. Put simply this is 3 bands playing their sets at a local youth center recorded with a Zoom H4n plus two additional microphones. Each band play their own form of punk. Available through Agitator Records (who have plenty of other free downloads).

Captain Cleanoff has a new Split!
Those chaps at Fat Ass Records have gone and done it again. They've put out another 7" and this one is a corker!!
If you have ever read this blog then Captain Cleanoff don't really need to be explained to you. Their portion of the release contains 2 new songs and a cover of the Righteous Pigs. It looks to me like their artwork is done by Glenno, you love it.
Flip the disc to side 'A' and you get War Of The Second Dragon (WotsD). WotsD is a new band formed by Shane Embury from Napalm Death with dudes John Cooke, David Flower, and Duncan Wilkins. 5 minutes, no slow moments here, pure grindcore blast.
Prepare for punishment!!!

Grindhead Records Release: Exekute – Doomsday Mourning
After smashing it at their launch gig, Grindhead Records is happily presenting to you this debut EP of Sydney band Exekute. Here's what Grindhead Records have to say:
Grindhead Records brings an experience of complete and utter ferocity. This release demostrates the old school death metal elements that make the genre an intense and formidable display of musical prowess from catchy riffs and solos to intense vocals and pulsating drums. The catchy song arrangements and appeal in the music leaves no doubt that they are serious about their role and intend on making an impact.
For fans of Death, Benediction, Malevolent Creation, Monstrosity, Sodom, Exodus.
Available Worldwide with Free Postage. Go to Grindhead Records.
Download the track Genetic Monstrosity.
Buy Doomsday Mourning.
Exekute on Facebook.
New AoA & Iron Lung.
New tunes from some classic blasters.
Iron Lung are back with their 3rd LP, titled "White Glove Test".
Buy/stream/whatever from their Bandcamp
And Agents of Abhorrence have given us a taste of their new material.
The 2 new tracks, from the upcoming LP "Relief", feature AoA in their latest form... more single-kick madness from Australia's (and the world's, IMO) premier grind band.
let's all collectively give up our own inferior bands and agree that Agents win.
Suss it out on their Soundcloud
The Kill / The Communion split 7″ OUT NOW!
Just released through Fat Ass Records is a great grindcore split featuring the Australian terrors of single pedal metal The Kill and New York's The Communion who on this release are having a crack at some sludge styled grindcore.
According to my source, The Kill's side of the split contains 5 tracks of extremely fast grind, and includes a cover of the Napalm Death song 'Dead'. The Communion's side has 2 tracks of sludgey grindcore that combines elements of EyeHateGod, Buzzoven, Assuck & Phobia.
A good mix, with a little of something for everybody.
You can purchase it now through Fat Ass Records for 8 Euros / $10 with postage worldwide.

Wretch want you to be a part of their next CD
Those Canberran's are looking to release a new album. They want to try something new. It would be nice if you, and your pals, could contribute some dollars towards their process. It can immortalise you, not only to the band, but you could even get your name in the Thank You section, which you could show all those kids who still continue to make fun of you, your taste in music and your lack of a life. Go here now to donate.
Read what Wretch had to say:
For as low as $10 you can pre-purchase a digital download of the album (with digital artwork and all the trimmings); $20 gets you a CD, $35 is a (new design) t-shirt and CD; and $60 and over wins you immortality through inclusion in the thanks list in the album art.
All you need is an email address. You can pay with PayPal or direct debit. Any help will be greatly appreciated, and you can guarantee that we'll remember your help and do what we can to support your next project and keep the live music scene interesting.
Wretch is four-piece grind/death/thrash/METAL!!! band based in Canberra. Since forming in 2011, Wretch has gone from strength to strength. Their live assault has been refined by frequent performances, including a handful of international supports, a number of successful festivals and playing with damn near every metal, hardcore and punk band in the country. The Senseless Violence EP (http://fvckingshitcvnt.bandcamp.com/) was self-released in early 2012 and received positive critical reception.
In the same DIY spirit, they’re recording their full-length album, Because You’re Worthless, for self-release in April and are inviting you to help support the making of this new album. Think of it as being like an extreme metal arts patron, supporting a new world where the record companies and shitty middlemen have all fucked off home and the music lovers have taken over.
