Download: Kill A Celebrity – Grindslaughter
I've always said, if you're playing grindcore for money then you're a fucking idiot - and hey, thats one of the reasons why I've always loved the genre; and the reason why Australia produces so many quality grind bands (because we sure as fuck arent in it for the money). It is in the spirit of this totally defeatist attitude that I am letting you all steal Kill A Celebrity's Grindslaughter.
Grindslaughter is our 12 track, 19 minute demo CD released in March 2007. We released it in a professionally printed slipcase - so if you want one just hit us up at a show. We recorded these tracks in Steve's bedroom and my garage mid 2006, then mixed it all in my bedroom late 2006. Thats kvlt-as-fuck, right? Bedroom grindcore?
Whatever, just download it, listen to it and hate it so we can all get on with our lives.

What the critics said:
"I think with maybe a little more budget they could have created an amazing debut and could have gotten right in line with the names mentioned above (Antigama, Cephalic Carnage, Pig Destroyer, Nasum). I guess the true noise-grind fans can blow some spunk on this one." - Metalrage
"The last track 'Corbetti' is kind of a mystery to me, it's basically a chill jazzy track that one might hear on Arrow Jazz FM here in Holland, while there's some incoherent mumbling in it. A bit of a weird ending of the album." - Metalrage
"The vocals are pretty irritating. Hey, scream at me a little more, why not? Too much hardcore, not enough growl. Make more growl or fuck off. On the other hand, the drummer is way too good for this band." - Global Domination
"I did repeat the 5 second long “Paris Hilton’s head on a fucking stake” a few times. From what I can tell, the song basically is a drum fill, guitar riff, blastbeats, and the singer screaming “Paris’s head on a fucking stake, that’s hot!” Awesome." - Global Domination
"Get more audio clips of Jimmy giving us a spew." - Global Domination
"This "Grindslaughter" demo is just amazing, sometimes surprising and always grinding as fuck!!" - Vomit The Soul (yes, I blew him)

As if any of those comments are real and people actually listen to your music or genre.
“Hey, scream at me a little more, why not? Too much hardcore, not enough growl. Make more growl or fuck off. On the other hand, the drummer is way too good for this band.”
Yeah, and while we’re at it, we should all become bands you like, so we’re all heaps different and interesting to ourselves and others. I’d like to see you listen to 19 minutes of a drummer by himself and keep interested.
I want a taco.
