Newcastle Grindcore Show Spectacular!!

Posted by mothereel

Luke apologises for this.

You may have seen Wounded Pig in the ACT at a free gig because you're heaps crusty and you blew all your rent money on your pouch.  You want more, so you're going to have to hitch or bum a lift up to Newy.

Featuring old mates Grannyfist, who haven't been to Sydney in a while, probably due to STIs (Sydney Transgender Interests).

Grannyfist: a piece of Grindcore history!

Give them money, they blow goats... grind goats.

The Mighty Grannyfist: demented men/people/gimp impersonators from Newcastle, NSW, are re-releasing their debut album "Double Penetration".  This time, they want to do it right, grind-scene maximum points right.  This time they are looking to do vinyl.

But Ladies and Gentlemen!!  They need your help.

Go to their Pozible page - and give them the gift that nobody else would understand giving them.  Give them money!

PLUS, there is also some other sweet deals where you can get exclusive stuff and some other crazy things like putting your photo on the inner sleeve or the label on the disc... Or you could get them to come and play at your brother's wedding or your birthday party....
Lets make this happen!

I think you can still get the CD version through Grindhead Records:  But that's not quite in the spirit of things.

I should be doing Grindhead things and to some extent this is related...  Here's a choose your own adventure/genre for Friday night.  Free Doom or Death and Grind in Tempe?

Adrift For Days release their 2nd album this Friday night.  It's getting great reviews and the show is free.

Adrift For Days Album Launch

Grannyfist are launching their DVD.  I don't know who has seen it, but I'm told there's content on there that means it had to be created in another state.

There's also a gig happening at The Valve Bar on Saturday called 'Erkstock'.  Couldn't find a poster or event page.  It looks like it's more a hard rock thing for some guy's birthday.  Who are you not to attend?

First up is that The Exploited show has been cancelled.

I wrote poor man's gig guide because my searches haven't brought up much.  Matt's Michael Crafter is doing some Melbourne shows, you should have been able to see them.  So now it's onto NSW...
