Supporting are Queensland post-metal pals The Matador, psychedelic drone merchants Adrift for Days and local trouble-makers At Dark.
This nice, diverse line-up should make for quite the pleasant evening. Entry is $10. Doors at 8pm. Come down!
Well, looks like I may be a fool for missing Russian Circles on their Australian tour. Here's a nicely shot clip from their show at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne a few nights ago.
Based on this, I'd you'd do well to get out there and see them. They play in Sydney tonight at Hermanns Bar.
Yo mang I just got wind of Lightning Bolt's "secret" show for Monday the 23rd of November.
It all goes down at Hermanns Bar, opposite Sydney University. The door price is $20 with no pre-sales.
The supports are Crux, Rice Corpse and Black Widow.
The_Network are Robotosaurus are hitting Sydney tonight and tomorrow night.
Tonight the furious almost-grind outfits hit up Dirty Shirlows warehouse fir an ALL AGES show. Dirty Shirlows can be found at 32 Shirlow Street in Marrickville. They are joined by the awesome Wollongong math/hardcore/grind outfit Hospital the Musical and synth post-punkers Yeah Bears.
Tomorrow night they hit up Hermann's Bar at Sydney University for the real business alongside grinders Beyond Terror Beyond Grace and the heavily Locust-influenced Schrodinger's Cat.
I believe entry for both is $12.
Just a word of advice: Slaughterfest II down in The Basement in Canberra sold out - so if you're coming tonight I'd try and get there before there's no more tickets left!
See you all there for this awesome mini-festival. Such a killer line up.

For those of you who missed out last year, Grindhead Records spawned two mini-festivals in 2007: Slaughterfest and East West Death Grind Fest, which featured the likes of Captain Cleanoff, Guild of Destruction, Maximum Perversion, Vaticide, Ebolie, Beyond Terror Beyond Grace, Corpsickle, Backyard Mortuary and a whole host of others.
This year they're scaling up, with more interstate acts and a bigger venue. The headlining act is none other than Australia's most successful grindcore export Blood Duster, who will take to the stage in Sydney before heading overseas to play at some of the world's biggest extreme music festivals in front of tens of thousands of fans.
The line up also includes the death and doom fiends Pod People resurfacing from the depths of Canberra, Sydney's Ebolie who will be armed with a host of new material (and with whispers of a new full length album on the horizon), Adelaide's filthy crust, grind and doom merchants Space Bong (with members of The Rivalry and Meat Wallet), Melbourne's premier sludge death/doom group Clagg, Canberra's crushingly intense Infinitum - and loads, loads more - there really isnt enough space on this page to go through the highlights, because the simple fact of the matter is I dont want to miss a single one of these bands!
Entry is believed to be $25 at this stage - and with no less than SEVEN interstate acts and such a huge range of styles, thats going to be a steal! This really is an incredible line-up - I dont think we've seen anything like it in Sydney before.
Needless to say; I'll see you there!
