About: Central coast surf brat punk rock straight outa Swansea my illa. These dude play some fuzzed out fast punk in the vein of Dead Kennedy’s and reminds me a tad of Eddy Current Suppression Ring, except funnier. These dudes grew up on the Newcastle beaches, came together to knock out some true punk cos its probably about all they can do. Lucky for us they kill at it. Oozing in some serious vibe. Get amongst it.

Jess Locke’s latest EP out on Lesstalk Records “Skins” is about change. It is about relationships and growing up (yep, still growing up). Lyrically, the songs largely speak for themselves, the music also reflects and accentuates to the ups and downs; the subtlety and the intensity that the lyrics convey. This is a sad album in many ways, but its also extremely hopeful. Skins is catharthis.
Jess Locke will be launching this EP in February by touring South East Asia.

Lindsay aka Virginia Sook has turned her songs into a full band arrangement to ensure these songs are as equally awesome on record as they are live. Recorded at Sun Distortion Studios in Brisbane by Chris Brownbill (IDYLLS, Capeweather, Nuclear Summer), this is EP is music for fans of lovely storytelling and acoustic music.

LT036 – 5 Years of Lesstalk Records – DVD Compilation

5 years is half a decade. Rewind the clock by 5 years and many friends were partying at Chain Valley Bay South on the sunny Central Coast of NSW, playing in our basement on shitty musical equipment making the most fun and pointless music as punk and DIY as we knew how. In the next years that proceeded; the good ol pals on Lesstalk have not slowed down, if anything they have sped up, stopped, then sped up faster, went to bed, woke up and kept going. Which means that the legacy of home made video clips that have accumulated, they need to be placed in a format where we can sit down and watch them all for lolz. Hence the creation of the 5 years of Lesstalk Records DVD compilation. This handmade, hand numbered, hand screen printed kraft DVD packs was made using only love and limited to 50.
