Info: The Artless Armchair Compilation: Conscious beings attempting to be heard amongst the inane and unceasing background noise of their reality.
Man ceaselessly creates noise. Some noise becomes structured; the fine variations in tonality take shape as the sound becomes subject to mankind’s tendency towards stringently ordered bureaucracy, forcing noise to submit often to genre and theory so it can be more easily understood or digested by the greater human populace.
For others, noise has no such imposed limits. Architects of sound let noise envelope and submerse the space around them, as the subtle vibrations are carried by a physical medium with all the unpredictable ebb and flow of a violent, savage sea.
We try to express and communicate this sense of hopelessness in all the art we create in a desperate attempt to impact the existence in which we are so powerless in; no matter the scale or longevity.
We all hold on to one last hope that the raw and pure nature of music will touch another, and that at least some semblance of meaning will be retained in the dying echo of our individuality as it is briefly spotlighted against the immense stage of the ages.
