Lesstalk Releases have been featured for free download on a new Australian only free download site called Ausreleases Tumblr, the blog is run by Morris Coffey (from Sydney Tapes fame) and Adam Lewis (from FBI’s Radiant glory, 9pm Monday nights). It also includes free downloads from the likes of To The North, Intentions and Kitchen’s Floor. It is supporting artists and labels like Lesstalk that like people listening to our music so we put it online for free, for everyone’s ears and a connection to the internet.

Halal, How Are You? EP Launch
The four spritely young men from Halal, How Are You? are releasing their debut EP, and have planned a big party for the event, at Oxford Art Gallery. This is a ripping new EP recorded by Jonathon Boulet in his home studio, pressed onto sexxy twelve inch vinyl and released by Lesstalk Records and the Halal boys. Some great party tunes for your ears to wrap around. They will be supported by Parramatta’s other boy band, Yes I’m Leaving.

New Release from Mushroom Family
Yay something new! Sharn, Nathan and I had a baked dinner on Tuesday night and made the next Lesstalk Release, is a great little pop/folk release with Sharn singing along with her uke. It also includes a cover of Sydney band “Songs” track called “Keepin it clean”, which really suits. Get into it. And from now on all Lesstalk Releases will be able to be streamed from front to back for your ears, and you can buy the tracks 4 cheep too. Less than the price of a large soy cappuccino.
Can I Please Have More, Please! is the delightfully cheeky debut release from Mushroom Family. It’s a cucumber wearing a cardigan; stoned lo-fi loveliness with a gruesome jangle. It’s a cul-de-sac at the end of the rainbow; wobbly, satirical and humble at all the right bends. Toasty, whimsical ukulele driven pop music. Wrapped in a photographic koan Can I Please Have More, Please! smiles and wipes it’s grubby hands on your clothes when you’re not looking. Features Nathan Martin of Tearjerker fame.
Cost $5
